Lincoln County¬†native, Jon Matthews, is raising money for his first feature film. The movie’s called, Unlovable. It’s an indie drama about a young woman—-who received HIV from a childhood blood transfusion—-that falls in love for the first time. The film will be shot entirely in West Virginia, during peak fall foliage season. And it will showcase some of the most beautiful locations in the state. Like Kanawha Falls, the Glen Ferris Inn, the New River Gorge Bridge, Babcock State Park, and historic downtown Charleston.

Jon is trying to raise $25,000 via Kickstarter, an internet fundraising site. If he doesn’t raise the entire amount by May 12th, he doesn’t get a penny of the proceeds. So, check out his website and donate a buck or two, if you can.¬†http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1058569683/unlovable-a-feature-film-in-pre-production
